ITA Internal Throttle Assembly

This assembly will allow you to route your throttle cable through your handlebars. It converts your carburetor to single cable action. Provided the cable is routed smoothly, then S&S, Mikuni, etc., carbs will still snap shut when the throttle is released. The upper end of the throttle cable wire is clamped into the barrel of the assembly and does not need a ferrule on that end. This means that it is very simple to modify one of your existing throttle cables to work with this assembly. Alternatively you can use any other throttle cable, provided one end is compatible with your carburetor and the cable is long enough. We offer an over-length throttle cable kit.

LTA Left Twist-grip Assembly

This is simply a reversed-spiral version of our Internal Throttle Assembly, and it can be used on the left side of the bars to activate a cable. What you use it for is your business, but we originally developed it to activate the clutch. The effort required to overcome the clutch spring is too great to allow for the cable to simply be attached to the clutch arm; some additional mechanism will be required to help overcome the resistance. We achieved this by attaching a pulley mechanism to the clutch arm inside the transmission end cover. We use this inside the end cover of a JIMS transmission and we use it in conjunction with a Primo diaphragm clutch. The mechanism may well be suitable for other applications, but we have not tried it. We offer all the components needed, including cable, as a kit.

TCA Twist Clutch Kit

These bars are 1 1/4" diameter polished stainless steel bars. They can be ordered in any of our styles. If you order just the basic bars they come with 1" end sections to allow the use of standard throttle, controls, switch-gear, etc. There are several options that can be ordered for the coolest bars available.
