When a top tube stretch is requested, the neck height remains the same. When a front leg tube stretch is requested the angle of the front tubes remains the same, they are simply extended. The top tube length and angle will then be adjusted to meet the new neck position. If you specify the dimension for both top tube and front leg stretch, then we will charge an additional $100. Please note that not all combinations are possible, we will do our utmost to meet your specifications.

Frames are supplied with a sand-blast finish or in zinc-rich powder-coat primer. This finish is compatible with all types of paint or powder-coat. Sand-blast finish is preferred if further fabrication is to be performed on the frame.

When ordering a frame please consider the following points:

  1. Frames are normally supplied with a "Pro-street" style neck, but if you are using a Springer front end or stock HD triple trees, then you should request a stock-style neck. With a stock-style neck the front legs join the neck at the top of the neck tube, with a Pro-street they join at the bottom.
  2. What rake would you like? There is no extra charge for rake options.
  3. The following mounts are optional: flat-side gas-tank mounts, regulator mount (strap across the front-legs of the frame), coil mounts (threaded bungs on center-post of frame).
  4. You may choose oil tank mounts for a Daytec oil tank, stock oil tank, or no oil tank mounts at all.
  5. You may choose brake anchor tab for a stock '87-up rear brake, PM rear brake, custom rear brake, our Sprocket Brake, or no tab at all.
  6. Softail frames can be ordered with or without passenger peg holes.
Our frames have a 1/2" offset built in to the motor and transmission plate mounts. You will need an offset transmission plate to further offset the transmission, but the amount of offset will depend on your rear wheel size and final drive. We use a 3/4" offset transmission sprocket to clear the 230 tire we use on our bikes.
CTP Custom transmission plate (offsets available 1/2", 3/4", 1", 1 3/16", 1 1/4")
$75
There will obviously also need to be some spacing to align the primary. If you are running an open belt this will be straightforward, as all the belt manufacturers offer front pulleys with various offsets. If you are using an enclosed primary, you will need a motor to primary spacer and a compensator shaft extension, or an offset front motor sprocket and nut. These are widely available from several after-market suppliers, or we can supply them for you, but only up to 1" offset.
